Our client, a progressive Indigenous Nation in the BC Interior, is seeking a proactive Director of Finance to lead a high-impact team and play a key role in shaping long-term fiscal strategy and governance.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead accounting operations: A/P, A/R, payroll, and financial reporting
- Guide annual budgets, audits, and system upgrades
- Recommend internal control improvements and financial policies
- Collaborate with department leaders to align strategy and reporting
- Help the Nation move toward First Nations Financial Management Board certification
About You
- Be able to do the job as described
- CPA designation with Sage 300 and Excel proficiency
- Strong grasp of FAL and FNHA financial frameworks
- Diplomatic communicator in a highly interactive team
- Skilled in policy enforcement and financial system evaluation
